The game begins with some content. When I started this blog, there were only 4 posts at the site which retrospectively is considerably bad for a site that has been running for 6 months.
So, adding content! Easy. Over the last week or so I have started making slightly more regular posts. I've added a few more galleries and have added a new section for wallpapers. It did dawn on me however that a site with just pictures may be hard to pick up keywords from, making it difficult to get decent rankings in the search engines. So to counter this, I've decided to start adding biographies of the lovely WWE Divas. Along with the biographies, hopefully I'll find the time to add news updates, further increasing the amount of actual content on the site.

The start of a long forgotton story
You've arrived at this blog and have just finished reading the huge heap of crap that is the first post? Good, lets get started.
As previously mentioned, I have one lonely site in my massive tangle of website networks. I bought the domain on the 4th of September 2009 and it expires exactly one year after. I guess that means the site has also been running since then. In that extraordinarily long length of time I have manged to install wordpress, a theme, some plugins and make the grand total of 4 posts. It should come as no surprise to you that I've made $0 from the site, and am nothing but ashamed at what I've accomplished.
The past is the past though and thankfully I still have roughly 5 months to go before the domain expires. That gives me enough time and a little bit of pressure to actually achieve something before the domain is sent back to limbo.
Lets get started! oh your probably wondering what the site is right?

Google Analytics: I'd much rather use a tool called awstats but my host doesn't offer it so I'm forced into using something else. Sticking with the free theme and being a huge fan of google products I'm going to go with their Analytical tool. The site has no traffic stats as of today so It will be interesting to see If I have any traffic from the long period of neglect.
Google Adsense: Noticing a trend? The site needs to generate revenue and to do that I use Adsense. More on this in another post.
Backlinks: None as of yet. A quick check on google confirms this

So to sum up, the site has no traffic (I'll know more in 24 hours), no revenue, no one worth mentioning is linking to it, it is however indexed in google.

You know the game
Everyone who does website development knows the importance of playing the SEO game. It's the key to getting a respectable website that people will actually know exists.
Right now, no ones knows that this blog exists. It's just a new url with little content sitting on a google server waiting to be crawled. And that's fine for all of 5 minutes. However, what good is a site that no one knows exists? Anything you write will only be read by you and that is just depressing. This is where SEO comes in.....
But, I'm just an inexperienced webmaster with little knowledge of how to get things done. I have no money and only one real (failing) website. And that's why I've decided to start blog using the wonderful and free resource that is blogspot! A place where I'll be able to write what works and what doesn't.
So join me as I play the SEO game with my last chance at making money online.
Here at this wonderful free blog, I'm going to keep you updated with the success and failures of everything I try to get my site ranked and making money.
